Before you call
How quickly do you respond to a new board?
Most calls and messages are returned within one business day. If your matter is time sensitive, such as an upcoming closing or a hearing date, say so when you call and we will prioritize accordingly.
Do you only work with condo associations?
No. We represent condominium associations, homeowners associations and co-op boards throughout Miami-Dade County. The governing statutes differ, chapter 718 for condominiums and chapter 720 for homeowners associations, and we work in both.
Can you attend our board meetings?
Yes. We regularly attend regular and special board meetings to advise in real time on votes, contracts and disputes as they come up. See our board meetings practice pages for more detail.
What should I have ready before I call?
Your governing documents (declaration, bylaws and any amendments), the specific issue in a sentence or two, and any deadline you are working against. We can request the rest once we understand the situation.
